Business Area Manager

We are now looking for a commercially driven and inspiring Business Area Manager to lead and develop key business areas within our Electrical & Transportation Technologies (TT) division.

This is a strategic leadership role where you will combine commercial growth, operational excellence, and people leadership to drive long-term success. This role is primarily office-based, located at our site in Kista, Stockholm, with the expectation of being on-site 3–4 days per week, particularly initially as you establish relationships and embed yourself within the business line teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the P&L performance of assigned business areas

  • Develop and execute short- and long-term business strategies

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, performance reviews, and KPI management

  • Work closely with sales colleagues to identify opportunities based on market demands and trends and tailor solutions accordingly.

  • Build strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders

  • Lead and develop managers and teams through clear direction and coaching

  • Contribute actively as a member of the Electrical & TT Leadership Team

Who We Are Looking For

You are a commercially driven leader who combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach. You enjoy creating results through people, thrive in a performance-oriented environment, and have a passion for developing businesses and teams.

We believe you have:

  • A university degree in, Engineering, Business or another relevant field, or equivalent professional experience

  • Deep understanding and knowledge of the industrial segment

  • 5 years of successful leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering results

  • Strong commercial mindset and ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities

  • Solid financial understanding, including P&L responsibility, budgeting, and forecasting

  • Experience from product testing, technical advisory services, certification, inspection, engineering services, or similar industries

  • High integrity and strong business ethics

  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, written and spoken

  • Experience with change management is a plus but not a requirement
