Sales Manager GTS - Intertek
Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for forging new business relationships? We are on the lookout for a talented Sales Manager to run our continued expansion in the Nordic market.
As the Sales Manager for our Nordic Government and Trade services you will be a key player in expanding our customer base. Your focus is developing and implementing new sales initiatives, strategies, and programs to capture key demographics. To make this happen you will have the opportunity to travel within the Nordics on a regular basis.
Intertek Government and Trade Services supports Governments, Customs Authorities and National Standards Organisations, by ensuring imported goods comply with international safety and quality standards.
We help Governments worldwide to protect their citizens and their environment by preventing sub- standard products entering their countries. Our programs also help to protect import duty which is vital for investment into these economies. Intertek teams work daily with exporters and importers to ensure that they comply fully with these programs requirements, aiding smooth customs clearance and supporting international trade.
Responsibilities:
- Upsell existing programs and commercial services by account penetration
- Meet and exceed annual revenue, margin, new customers, and key activity targets
- Meet and exceed all agreed target mechanisms
- Achieve new business goals
- Assist in developing relationships with key government departments
- Provide monthly activity reports as required
- Build strong relations with excellent communication both internal and external
Who are you?
- You have a background in working in the sales field
- Skilled in data analysis and managing customers using customer relationship management (CRM)
- Customer focused and able to drive a first-class service
- Have a technical ability to understand testing and government standards
